On Parade (life-size)
A committee in Dearborn, Michigan, chose Janice to
do a life-sized bronze statue of Orville L. Hubbard,
the longest-reigning mayor in the United States. After
studying pictures of this flamboyant and colorful man
in the library's archives, the pose of the mayor waving
in a parade was selected as most appropriate.
