John Dinan Memorial

As the City Manager of Farmington, Michigan, over a period of ten years John Dinan was responsible for significant economic growth and development in his city. Upon leaving the position in 1972, Dinan continued to be a community leader until his death in 2003. A memorial was proposed, to honor Dinan and his contributions to the community. Janice designed the life-size Dinan portrait as a bas relief, to accommodate a limited budget. The pose is taken from a photograph of Dinan giving a speech.
